It"s definitely left better vague if it"s Jack or not. I think it is but he"s lost all of his humanity and his soul, and the Hotel is doing the talking for him and reading his thoughts. He"s just a puppet now. Loved this movie! Was Expecting a Nicholson cameo but after i realised they recast the other charaters, it felt like a better decision to do so. Why am I watching this. It"s scary. DOCTOR SLEEP (2019) I was stunned at the gripping plot and story. The casting and acting are superb. I had my eyes wide open for most of the film. It is mystifying, horrifying, and is essentially the most terrifying film I have seen in a long time. Warning: Do not bring young children to see this film. It may traumatize them for life. From a novel by Stephen King, and it"s considered the sequel to THE SHINING. In theaters. Shame they coulsnt have cgid a jack nickleson with his permission. Was Dan talking through Rose. I love how they made he say “are you going to take your medicine?” It was a great reference to the shining novel and I was very upset that Kubrick left it out of his movie cause it was a very big reoccurring thing in the book. As well as a bunch of other stuff.

The Director"s cut just came out and it makes the movie even better. THIS MOVIE WAS AWESOME LOVED IT. Doctor sleep is Chilling and suspenseful. I liked
how it alluded to what came before it in The Shining while being. its own thing. Good continuation of the story that doesn"t copy the original film. Ewan McGregor is excellent, the director is great. Fans of the Shining will appreciate it. I"m glad someone put this up, because I had to leave the room when this part came on. I want to see what happens. I own this. I loved them eating the woman with the hat up. She"s cruel, so she needs to see what cruelty is like. I was thinking about watching The Shining. I watched Doctor Sleep a while ago. Then I watched Jaws.????????????.

When Rose astral projects across the night sky in silence except for the slow heart beat creeped me out. Very reminiscent of the eerie moments in The Shining. Shame steven king hates this movie i think its a master peice of acting and directing and cinamatography. Am I the only one who felt that arctic chills down my spine when the Shining theme played? REDRUM. One of my favourite scenes from the whole film.

It would have been a million times better with Jack Nicholson. No offense to Henry Thomas. I loved him in E.T. and Suicide Kings. My family had moved to So CA Jan 78" and in the summer of 1980 (At age almost 12) I went back by myself to Texas to see my best friend who was 2 yrs older, and his bro 5 yrs older than me, and the last thing my dad said b4 I got on the plane was you are not allowed to see the Shining, and that was the first thing we did when I got there. Always having older friends and most with even older brothers, all of my friends parents always treated me like I was older too. Then I"d go home and back to being treated as a kid. MY LEG. This movie made IT make so much more sense in which pennywise scares children to purify the shine, and children because the shine becomes filthy with age.
